as you might have figured out now..im not good at updating this page in time. this last weekend we went to italy for 2 european cups in breuil cervinia. first day of training was lovely weather and we got to see the beautiful landscape and the matterhorn mountain just next to the slopes. the boys had some issues with the bank turns in the course, well everybody had the same issue. we stayed at a great place on the slope mon revé, very nice athmosphere and people who runs that place. we also had great lunches in the chalet etoile restaurant. big thanks to Ulla and her crew for that. folger did qualify for the final heats both days. he ended up on 10th place on saturday and showed really good skills. robin and johan didnt make it to the heat races. it was frustration for both them and me. i know they both can make it too if they just get everything together. activity activity! we spend sunday evening in milano and had dinner at a very special place. i need to let you know about this. a restaurant next ti the first hotel malpensa. it was a old 50th saloon style with at that time fancy curtains, crystal chandelier, and lots of whine. it was two short old mens who had the place and they were brothers. they looked like small penguins when they walked around and served us. old style gentlemens. the food was not the best but the whole dinner made us laugh a lot and the old mens touched my heart. gracie

Im a bit late with updates..sorry but better late than never. last week we were in Switzerland for 2 WC competitions in Veysonnaz. the first WC race ever for the boys, folger and robin, and first for me as a coach. it was a lot fun. challenging but fun. great to meet all friends on tour and an honour to be the only lady on the TC meetings. the boys did handle the course well. folger did reach our goal and did qualif on the second race. he showed good skills. god I was nervous when he stood in the startgate next to the 5 others. robin didnt really reach his limit this week but im sure he will step up. im already looking forward to the next competition. for me as a coach the work is challenging , my goal is to give the boys the best conditions i can. sometimes i get stuck. stuck couse i get back to where i where in my snowboardcarrer and i cant compare that with the level these boys are on now. i want them to realise and give themselves the best conditions they can, focus on the right things…but i forget something; they might not know what they need, what they want and what is important for them..as i said sometimes im loosing it.. but most of the time its fun! if it wasnt challenging i guess i wouldnt work as hard with it as i do. big congrats to both folger and robin for their first WC!

jag tror att 2012 kommer att bli ett kreativt och glatt år när vi vill tänka på miljön och göra våra egna grejer samt ta tillvara på det vi redan har. i torsdags var det dags för lite pysselmys hos mig. efterfrågan har funnits ett tag och jag tänkte att nu är det dags. det var en mysig kväll med mycket skratt, tålamod, snabba stickor och nålar! det får bli en uppföljning snart igen. här är lite pics..

..och jag gissar även att innehållet blir mig kärt. jag är hemma i dalarna hos mamma och pappa nu, superskönt! natten mellan måndag och tisdag kom det ca 3 dm snö och -5 grader på termometern har gjort det senaste dygnen vintervackra. julstämningen har äntligen infunnit sig! i går var jag runt på lite julmys och hälsade på min sticklady evy ute i romma, där bjuds det alltid på nybakt och god stämning! efter det fortsatte jag till ylva skarp i hjortnäs. Där blev det mys och massa pepptalk för att bli uppdaterad om läget och hur businessen går. energiboost, kaffe, kaka och julshopping och tiden bara rusade iväg, hur lätt och snabbt som helst. ylva gör så fina grejer, jag behöver dock ett hus innan jag har tillåtelse att shoppa mer till mig själv. idag blev det julklappar till släkten som inhandlades. jag fick ett paket, en julklapp, tack fina ylva! gigantiskt och så snyggt inslaget att jag nästan inte vill öppna det…
